Coun­cil are deliv­er­ing the ​‘Regen­er­at­ing the Alice Town Cen­tre’ project, which aims to engage with the Alice Springs Com­mu­ni­ty to devel­op Con­cept Designs for the Alice Springs Town Centre.

The project will have a par­tic­u­lar focus on these areas:

𝗟𝗲𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 (Gre­go­ry Ter­race Round­about to Wills Terrace)

– Riv­er activation

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗹 (Gre­go­ry Ter­race to Par­son Street)

– Explor­ing to improve its utilisation

𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 (Cor­ner Hart­ley Street and Gre­go­ry Terrace)

– Con­sid­er­ing alter­na­tives, poten­tial­ly includ­ing turn­ing it into a pub­lic open space.
