Grants & Sponsorship
In-Kind Support
In-Kind Support is offered to eligible events in place of monetary value. Council determines in-kind support on a case by case basis. To read more about what is available for in-kind, refer to page 11 of the ASTC Community Grant and Sponsorship Guidelines 2023.
Please note: Applications must be submitted fourteen (14) days in advance to be considered.

Community Grants & Event Sponsorship Program
Council’s Community Grants & Event Sponsorship Program aims to support community initiatives and encourage the ongoing social, cultural, recreational and environmental development of Alice Springs.
Cash sponsorships are available in the Event Sponsorship Program to assist in development and staging of events and community projects in Alice Springs.
Eligible organizations are those operating on a non-for-profit basis, or providing a project/service for non-commercial gain, or providing a project/service which adds value to the community.
Submitting application does not guarantee funding.
Applicants must meet all eligibility criteria to be considered for further assessment- refer to guidelines section below.
Program
Council has streamlined its Community Grants and Event Sponsorship Program processes meaning there are now two opportunities to apply for Council funding each year.
Next Information Session will be held on Tuesday 16 July 2024 5pm‑6.30pm at Council’s Andy McNeil Room.
FY 2023 – 24 Round 2: For activities between 1 July 2024 to 31 December 2024- CLOSED
- Closed 1 March 2024.
- All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in April/May 2024.
FY 2024 – 25 Round 1: For activities between 1 January 2025 to 30 June 2025
- Applications open 1 August 2024 9am
- Applications close 1 September 2024 5pm
- All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in October/ November 2024
