The 2023 Christmas Carnival

When: Fri­day, 8 Decem­ber 2023

Where: Todd Mall, Todd Street & Coun­cil Lawns, Alice Springs

Time: 5:00pm until 9:00pm

It’s time to ring in Christ­mas with a Big Ol’ Red Cen­tre Welcome! 

Watch the Todd Mall, Todd Street and the Coun­cil Lawns come alive with Enter­tain­ment, fes­tive cheer and a whole host of activ­i­ties, with the Annu­al ASTC Christ­mas Carnival!

Whether you’re in for a bar­gain, treat­ing your­self or just get­ting on top of that last minute Christ­mas Shop — The abun­dant mar­kets stalls offer­ing an assort­ment of delights come just in time for the Christ­mas Season! 

Dis­cov­er some of Alice’s hid­den gems with a host of tal­ent keep­ing you enter­tained through­out the after­noon and into the evening on three jam-packed stages! 

And watch the icon­ic light­ing of the Christ­mas tree on the Cham­ber Lawns - not to be missed!

Are you an artist, com­mu­ni­ty group or an enter­tain­er? Do you want the oppor­tu­ni­ty to per­form at our Car­ni­val? If so, please get in touch with us here!

To par­tic­i­pate as a Stall­hold­er for the 2023 Christ­mas Car­ni­val Night Mar­kets please com­plete the online form avail­able here! 

Busi­ness Criteria

  1. You must have sub­mit­ted your reg­is­tra­tion with us
  2. You must be a brick and mor­tar busi­ness run­ning in Alice Springs — open to all!
  3. You will need a Win­dow Dis­play or Dis­play in-store
  4. Please keep your dis­play fam­i­ly friendly!

But be quick! Reg­is­tra­tion clos­es mid­night, Sun­day, 19 Novem­ber 2023.

Take part in the 2023 Busi­ness Christ­mas Competition!

Grand Prize takes home $500, Sec­ond Place $300 and Third Place $200!

To be in the chance to win cash prizes, simply:

  • Reg­is­ter to join in on the 2023 Christ­mas Busi­ness Competition
  • Pick up your Elf on the Shelf com­pli­men­ta­ry of us!
  • If you have a window:
    1. Dec­o­rate your store win­dow with your Elf on the Shelf (get cre­ative, stage a scene!) or 
    2. Cre­ate the dis­play with­in your store!
  • Our Media Officer will vis­it on an agreed date to take a pro­fes­sion­al snap of your dis­play for our Socials!
  • Judg­ing will take place with a pan­el of chil­dren either by store vis­it or photographs!
  • Sit tight while we pro­mote your store through our Social Media plat­forms to pro­mote local busi­ness, and enjoy the fun!
  • Win­ners will be announced at the Christ­mas Car­ni­val, 8 Decem­ber 2023, and noti­fied after the Carnival.
