Centralian Citizen of the Year Awards
The Centralian Awards are awarded each at each Australia Day Flag Raising and Citizenship Ceremony, celebrating the recipients’ significant contributions to the Alice Springs community.
There are four awards:
- Centralian Citizen of the Year
- Young Centralian Citizen of the Year
- Senior Centralian Citizen of the Year
- Community Event of the Year
Nominations
Nominations for the 2025 Centralian Awards are open on Monday 7 October 2024 and close on Monday 18 November 2024!
If you know someone that has made an extraordinary contribution to Alice Springs, you can nominate them by filling in the online form here.
Please note, you will be required to write a description (500 words or less) on the contribution the nominee has made to the community. Include significant achievements and any other useful information that supports this nomination.
It is not required, however, you can also attach any supporting information, such as, digital media, newspaper clippings, promotional material or letters of support.
If you require a hardcopy of the form please visit the Civic Centre and ask at the reception- available on Monday 7 October 2024.
