But our work is not yet done! To keep the ball rolling, we will be hold­ing a Tech­ni­cal Skatepark Con­sul­ta­tion where skate and BMX enthu­si­asts can dis­cuss what sort of fea­tures and flows/​transitions they would want in a skatepark. This will be an oppor­tu­ni­ty dis­cuss options, ideas, and shape the design of skatepark com­po­nent of the park.

Fur­ther to gath­er­ing this tech­ni­cal feed­back on the skatepark design, the oth­er key ele­ments of the space will be devel­oped for pub­lic con­sul­ta­tion in Octo­ber 2023 which will involve com­plet­ed 3D ren­ders so res­i­dents have the abil­i­ty to bet­ter visu­alise the park and its ameni­ties. This will be the oppor­tu­ni­ty for the wider pub­lic to have a say on what they love about the con­cept design, what could be improved and what is missing.
