My Year Of Living Mindfully Film Screening

    Oct 6th 2020, 6:00pm - 8:00pm

In the midst of a global mental health crisis, millions of people have turned to mindfulness. But does it actually make us happier and healthier? In a world-first experiment, journalist Shannon Harvey recruited a team of scientists to put mindful meditation to the test. Throughout her year of living mindfully Shannon is poked, prodded, scanned and screened as she travels the world to interview 18 of the world’s leading mindfulness scientists and pioneers. But after a 30,000 kilometre journey from the bright lights of Manhattan to the dusty refugee camps of the Middle East, what begins as a self-experiment, transforms into a life-changing experience. The screening is FREE but people must RSVP their seat to confirm their place and to fulfil COVID safety requirements. At the screening there will be a spacing of two seats between different groups of people. We strongly encourage you to organise group bookings as a 2 seat social distancing buffer is required between each booking. We would really like to see as many people as possible accessing this movie in the assigned theatre without losing too many seats to social distancing. Get your friends together and book as a group! RSVP tickets at https://events.humanitix.com/livingmindfully This event adheres to COVID safety requirements. Please stay home if you feel sick, wash your hands regularly, use sanitiser, maintain your distance, and download the COVIDSafe app.
