Bring your lunch and head down to the Old Courthouse lawns to support some FREE live music on the streets of Alice Springs every second Wednesday, May through August. This fortnight's gig will feature: Hollis Taylor's Absolute Bird Hollis Taylor’s Absolute Bird summons audiences to the sound world of another species. Taylor performs her (re)compositions of avian songs on violin along with her field recordings from Central Australia. A former USA fiddle champion, she will also perform some of her unique arrangements of Texas-style fiddle tunes. http://www.hollistaylor.com/ Emma Trenorden & Rosie Ballard Emma and Rosie are indie folk singer-songwriters who layer harmonies in soothing tones that rise and fall. They will be sharing songs from Emma's reWILD EP, alongside new songs penned by both songwriters.
