For the first (and last) time in the history of DSF events, ‘MEN ALOUD’ will be a spectacular Araluen showcase concert: a fitting in-town Finalé for the 2024 festival featuring male voices only! Featuring The Shavings, OLGA and The Australian Welsh Male Choir. The Desert Song Festival is returning in 2024: Shorter, Sharper, Brighter! DSF 2024 will be as creative, as diverse, as innovative and as enjoyable as it has ever been. For 6 glorious days, 17-22 September the Central Desert will again reverberate to the sounds of choirs and musicians from across Australia and visiting international musicians. After 18 years contributing to music, music practice and events in Central Australia, this year’s Desert Song Festival will be the last festival curated by Morris Stuart!
