The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek ener­getic casu­al Youth Pro­gram Offi­cers to devel­op, and deliv­er activ­i­ties and events. Fur­ther, to encour­age engage­ment, con­sul­ta­tion, and com­mu­ni­ca­tion between young peo­ple and Coun­cil in the third-largest town in the North­ern Territory.

Your respon­si­bil­i­ties will include sup­port­ing and encour­ag­ing the engage­ment of young peo­ple in the Council’s youth pro­grams, events, groups, and con­sul­ta­tion process­es; com­mu­ni­cat­ing with schools, youth ser­vice providers, com­mu­ni­ty groups, and local young people. 

What will you get from join­ing the team?

• Attrac­tive salary Lev­el 1.1 which equates to $41.61 / hour incl. casu­al load­ing pro rata, plus a dis­trict allowance of $1,498 non-depen­dant or $2,611 depen­dant rate.
