The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek an expe­ri­enced Team Mem­ber Lit­ter Col­lec­tion to work with­in the Works Depot team and under the gen­er­al direc­tion of the Man­ag­er Works.

Your respon­si­bil­i­ties will be includ­ed but not lim­it­ed to under­tak­ing a range of clean­ing and main­te­nance duties relat­ing to Coun­cil prop­er­ty includ­ing toi­let blocks, clean­ing up side entry pits, clean­ing and main­tain­ing drains and water­ways, assist­ing with the clean­ing up of spills, e.g. oils, fuel, con­crete, Main­tain equip­ment and per­form repairs as nec­es­sary, under­tak­ing gen­er­al clean­ing and labour­ing work, assist­ing with traf­fic con­trol around work sites and work safe­ly as part of a team fol­low­ing Coun­cil poli­cies and procedures.

• Attrac­tive salary of Lev­el 2.1 (ME) $ 67,684.24 exclu­sive of super­an­nu­a­tion p/​a plus dis­trict allowance — $ 2611 w/​dependents, $1498 w/​o dependents
• 6 weeks annu­al leave with addi­tion­al gen­er­ous leave enti­tle­ments (annu­al leave is paid at the employee’s ordi­nary hourly rate togeth­er with a leave load­ing of 17.5%.) + 3 weeks per­son­al leave + long ser­vice leave
