The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek an expe­ri­enced Super­vi­sor of Hor­ti­cul­ture to over­see and man­age a range of hor­ti­cul­ture activ­i­ties with­in the Works Depot team, under the gen­er­al direc­tion of the Senior Super­vi­sor of Parks and Gardens.

Your respon­si­bil­i­ties will includ­ed over­see­ing and super­vis­ing a range of activ­i­ties under­tak­en by the Hor­ti­cul­ture, Tree Care, and Green Infra­struc­ture teams, con­tribut­ing to the depart­men­tal plan­ning process, includ­ing tech­ni­cal advice, resource plan­ning, project devel­op­ment, and staffing issues, and per­form­ing after hours On-Call duties as required from a rota­tion­al roster.

• Attrac­tive salary of Lev­el 3.1 (MO) $ 80,263.75 p/​a plus 11.5% super­an­nu­a­tion and dis­trict allowance — $ 611 w/​dependents, $1498 w/​o dependents
• 6 weeks annu­al leave with addi­tion­al gen­er­ous leave enti­tle­ments (annu­al leave is paid at the employee’s ordi­nary hourly rate togeth­er with a leave load­ing of 17.5%.) + 3 weeks per­son­al leave
• 15% On-call allowance.
