The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek a Library Pro­gram Offi­cer, who con­tributes to plan­ning and deliv­er­ing dynam­ic, com­mu­ni­ty-cen­tered pro­grams that empha­sise lit­er­a­cy, life­long learn­ing, and cre­ative engage­ment. The role will active­ly sup­port pro­grams fos­ter­ing dig­i­tal inclu­sion, per­son­al and com­mu­ni­ty well-being, work­force and eco­nom­ic devel­op­ment, and inno­v­a­tive learn­ing expe­ri­ences.

Your respon­si­bil­i­ties will include col­lab­o­rat­ing with the Library Pro­grams Coor­di­na­tor and Library Man­ag­er to design, deliv­er, and assess a diverse range of high-qual­i­ty library pro­grams that sup­port lit­er­a­cy, life­long learn­ing, dig­i­tal inclu­sion, and com­mu­ni­ty and work­force devel­op­ment. Empha­sise inno­v­a­tive pro­gram­ming to meet com­mu­ni­ty inter­ests, includ­ing cod­ing, robot­ics, and STEM learn­ing expe­ri­ences, and devel­op and imple­ment pro­gram eval­u­a­tion mea­sures, ensur­ing con­tin­u­ous rel­e­vance, qual­i­ty, and align­ment with the library’s objec­tives. Pro­vide insight­ful feed­back to library man­age­ment for evi­dence-based, inno­v­a­tive pro­gram­ming improvements.
