The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek a Com­mu­ni­ty Sup­port Work­er who will be respon­si­ble for facil­i­tat­ing the deliv­ery of in-kind sup­port ser­vices to the Alice Springs com­mu­ni­ty. Every year Coun­cil offers local com­mu­ni­ty orga­ni­za­tions, clubs, groups and schools a range of in-kind sup­port to increase activ­i­ties that ben­e­fit the com­mu­ni­ty. In-kind sup­port refers to the pro­vi­sion of infra­struc­ture or ser­vices, free of charge. Locat­ed with­in the Com­mu­ni­ty Devel­op­ment Direc­torate in Alice Springs Town Coun­cil.

Your respon­si­bil­i­ties will include fol­low­ing pro­ce­dures to effi­cient­ly han­dle requests for in-kind sup­port, cre­ate and main­tain a thor­ough clean­ing and main­te­nance sched­ule, build a good rela­tion­ship with the Alice Springs com­mu­ni­ty, respond to cus­tomer inquiries in a time­ly and effi­cient man­ner, and ensure in-kind sup­port activ­i­ties are com­plet­ed on time.

• Attrac­tive salary of $ 86,187.13p/​a plus dis­trict allowance — $ 2611 w/​dependents, $1498 w/​o dependents.
• 6 weeks annu­al leave with addi­tion­al gen­er­ous leave entitlements
