This 6‑part work­shop series will cov­er land­scape and fig­ure paint­ing tech­niques for all skill lev­els. Begin­ners will learn foun­da­tion­al prin­ci­ples, while more expe­ri­enced par­tic­i­pants can explore advanced methods.

Water­colour is a vibrant, atmos­pher­ic medi­um, per­fect for both sketch­es and fin­ished works. Pop­u­lar­ized by artists like J.M.W. Turn­er and con­tem­po­rary painters like eX De Medici, water­colour brings life and lumi­nos­i­ty to any composition.

About Your Host — Hen­ry Smith is an artist, sculp­tor and teacher who start­ed his career free­lanc­ing in Mel­bourne before com­ing to live in Alice Springs Cen­tral Aus­tralia, where he works part time teach­ing paint­ing, draw­ing, and sculp­ture at Charles Dar­win University.
