Beat the heat and start your Sat­ur­day right with barista-made cof­fee, deli­cious cakes, and live music from the tal­ent­ed local songstress, Ali­son Mapleson.

Explore our native plants and veg­gie stall, and check out the local hon­ey stall for some sweet, local treats.

From 10:00 to 11:30 am, don’t miss the infor­ma­tive work­shop host­ed by Cos­ta from Gar­den­ing Aus­tralia and local gar­den­ing guru Geoff Meiers on ​“Plan­ning, Prepar­ing and Plant­i­ng Your Veg­ie Patch.” The work­shop is a fan­tas­tic oppor­tu­ni­ty to get your hands dirty and learn valu­able gar­den­ing tips — just a $5 dona­tion to the gar­dens! Please bring cash only for the work­shop, as it ensures that the funds go direct­ly to sup­port­ing the garden.

So, come on down, meet your com­mu­ni­ty, and enjoy the first café of the sea­son at the beau­ti­ful East Side Com­mu­ni­ty Gar­dens. We can’t wait to see you there!
