Digital Legacies
Wednesday 7 August 2019, 3pm-4.30pm

Death and life (online) eternal.  We set up estate plans for our money, home, children and pets — but what about our digital assets? Your photos, social media posts, music, books and other digital assets are a key part of your legacy.   Do these live on after your death? If so, who controls their use when you are gone?
Join digital hereafter expert and super-savvy-senior Jenny Willcox from the Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association in this interactive live-stream workshop. 
 
Tall Tales
Friday 9 August, 10.30am to 12pm
Famous senior Centralians visit the library to read sections from their favourite book and host lively discussions about the books’ themes and their personal observations. Refreshments provided.

High Tea Bingo
Sunday 25 August 2019, 1-3.30pm
BINGO! It’s Senior’s Month at the library and we’re inviting you to enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea and a relaxed and social game of Bingo. Great prizes to be won!
 
Borrow Box Information Session
Friday 30 August, 11am to 12pm
Are you a library member?

of the hard-won understanding around where home lies.

LEGO Club

Mondays from 3.00 - 4.30pm.

The Alice Springs Public Library has its very own LEGO Club and you're invited to join in! All ages welcome.

LEGO is supplied (although donations are always appreciated). All you need is a willingness to have fun and create! Create something yourself, in a team or try out our Challenge Cards.

There is something for everyone at the LEGO Club.

FREE. No bookings required during School Term time.

 

Spoken English Meet-up

Mondays from 5.00pm - 6.00pm.

Practice your English at relaxed weekly meetings. Make new friends with tea and coffee provided.

U3A Creative Writing Group

2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 1.00 - 3.30 pm. 

If you are over 50, have a love of writing and would like to share your stories, improve your skills or just meet with like-minded folk, give our U3A Creative Writing Group a go!
