What is the event?

The Climb­ing QTs are an LGBTQIA+ climb­ing com­mu­ni­ty and advo­ca­cy group with a goal to cre­ate a more diverse and inclu­sive envi­ron­ment for peo­ple of all iden­ti­ties and back­grounds. Social meet ups are reg­u­lar climb­ing ses­sions ded­i­cat­ed to mak­ing climb­ing acces­si­ble to the queer community.

Who is it for?

This is for all humans of the LGBTQIA+ com­mu­ni­ty of all ages, fit­ness lev­els or expe­ri­ence. It is a super relaxed social event with the oppor­tu­ni­ty to do some climb­ing if you feel up to it.

We will have QT Cham­pi­ons host­ing the event who are expe­ri­enced climbers and can offer all the help and sup­port you will need to get on the wall.

The Y also has auto-belay sys­tems, as well as top rope, so there’s no need to rely on bring­ing a climb­ing bud­dy. Friends, fam­i­lies and fan clubs are wel­come to come along to watch
