Ben­e­fits

Your full library mem­ber­ship will enti­tle you to bor­row up to 20 items per card at any one time including:

  • Books of every genre & interest
  • Large print books
  • Books in var­i­ous languages
  • Books on CD
  • Movies and TV series on DVD
  • Music CDs
  • Mag­a­zines and newspapers
  • eBooks, eMagazines & audio­books via BorrowBox

Full Mem­ber­ship

Pro­vide a scan or pho­to of iden­ti­fi­ca­tion prov­ing your North­ern Ter­ri­to­ry res­i­den­cy (e.g. Dri­ver’s Licence, ten­an­cy agree­ment, Pow­er & Water bill etc.).

  1. Com­plete the Mem­ber­ship form and attach a copy of your ID
  2. We will email you your new library card num­ber and a link to set your password
  3. We will post your new card to the address on your identification

Online-only Mem­ber­ship

If you are unable to pro­vide iden­ti­fi­ca­tion prov­ing your North­ern Ter­ri­to­ry res­i­den­cy we can process your mem­ber­ship as an online-only bor­row­er (valid for 6 months). 

  1. Com­plete the Mem­ber­ship form
  2. We will email you your new library card num­ber and a link to set your password
  3. You can trans­fer to a full mem­ber­ship by bring­ing your NT Iden­ti­fi­ca­tion to the library dur­ing open­ing hours or email­ing a copy 

Both mem­ber­ship options allow you full access to online resources such as eBooks and eAudio­books via BorrowBox.
