Big Day Out in Harmony
Join Alice Springs Town Council and Multicultural Services of Central Australia to celebrate our diverse community!
Each year, Multicultural Community Services of Central Australia invites all the local multicultural groups and associations to participate in the event and share some of their culture with the wider community. After months of rehearsals, it comes together on a day filled with colours, sounds, fragrances and tastes from across the world.
Headline performance for 2024 will be:
Immy Owusu
Described as “The Very Definition Of Culture Clash” by Don Letts (BBC Radio), Immy’s ‘Afrodelik’ music draws influences from Psychedelia, Zamrock and Highlife. His debut album LO-LIFE!, created with members of Surprise Chef, Karate Boogaloo, and The Senegambian Jazz band, was album of the week on PBS, SYN and French Independent Radio.
Recently voted Music Victoria’s 2023 Best Musician and Nominated for Best Regional Act, Owusu is an upcoming force to keep an eye on.
