Update to Library entry requirements - as of 28 September

Posted on 18 Sep, 2020

The Library is pleased to advise the community that as of Monday 28 September contact tracing will move to a voluntary basis for all visitors. Contact tracing was a measure originally put in place due to COVID19 health obligations however, with more recent work done in collaboration with the NT Department of Health, the Library is working to be able to offer this on a voluntary basis going forward. Other COVID measures such as appropriate sanitation, staying home if unwell and physical distancing will remain in place. This includes entry requirements for visitors aged 15 to 11yrs who will no longer be required to be accompanied by an adult for contact tracing requirement (10yrs and under do require adult supervision). The Alice Springs Public Library is inclusive and vibrant space for all in our community and Council thanks the community for its patience during this period. We look forward to seeing you all again soon! Note: These measures have been put in place as a result of COVID-19. All information is correct as at 2.30pm Monday 21 September, 2020
