Painted ‘en plein air’ at Boggy Hole on the Finke River during a 40 degrees weekend campout. This is the country we are privileged to share with the traditional owners, the Western Arrernte people. Back turned to the cool waterhole, the painting depicts the oldest existing river in the world, the iconic River Redgum, the lush greenery after rain, the hues of the distant ranges on an overcast day.
This piece was installed to the exterior of Eurilpa House in 2020.
