Primary Objective
This position assists Alice Springs Town Council (ASTC) maintain strong operational compliance and continuous improvement of its safety culture.
The Wellbeing Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective whole of organisation workplace health and safety system, monitoring the safety of workplace environments and identifying risks or hazards to minimise ASTC’s exposure to risk.
The position is also responsible for ongoing training needs analysis relating to WHS and the development, delivery and coordination of WHS-related training to the ASTC workforce including the Executive and Elected Members where required.
