The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek an expe­ri­enced Cor­po­rate Gov­er­nance Offi­cer to coor­di­nate and high-qual­i­ty admin­is­tra­tive sup­port to ensure the Council’s gov­er­nance frame­work and grants admin­is­tra­tion are imple­ment­ed and sup­port­ed through reg­u­lar review and monitoring.

You will be con­sult­ing with sub­ject mat­ter experts to draft, devel­op, or amend the Council’s cor­po­rate doc­u­ments as required.

Your respon­si­bil­i­ties will include coor­di­nat­ing the devel­op­ment and amend­ment of Council’s poli­cies in col­lab­o­ra­tion with respon­si­ble offi­cers and key stake­hold­ers to pro­mote oper­a­tional effi­cien­cies and align­ment to the Council’s strate­gic actions, assist­ing the Man­ag­er Gov­er­nance to imple­ment­ing Council’s cor­po­rate gov­er­nance frame­work, and con­duct­ing in-depth research includ­ing, but not lim­it­ed to, desk­top, data col­lec­tion and analy­sis, and stake­hold­er research, to sup­port the pro­vi­sion of gov­er­nance-relat­ed advice to Senior Exec­u­tive and Elect­ed Mem­bers, and con­tribute to the con­tin­u­ous improve­ment of organ­i­sa­tion­al sys­tems, process­es and poli­cies, iden­ti­fy­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties for inno­va­tion and effi­cien­cies to improve Council’s gov­er­nance practices.
