About Alice Springs Town Council

We seek an experienced Corporate Governance Officer to coordinate and high-quality administrative support to ensure the Council’s governance framework and grants administration are implemented and supported through regular review and monitoring.
You will be consulting with subject matter experts to draft, develop, or amend the Council’s corporate documents as required.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating the development and amendment of Council’s policies in collaboration with responsible officers and key stakeholders to promote operational efficiencies and alignment to the Council’s strategic actions, assisting the Manager Governance to implementing Council’s corporate governance framework, and conducting in-depth research including, but not limited to, desktop, data collection and analysis, and stakeholder research, to support the provision of governance-related advice to Senior Executive and Elected Members, and contribute to the continuous improvement of organisational systems, processes and policies, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiencies to improve Council’s governance practices.
