The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek a Com­pactor Labour­er, who Car­ry out a range of gen­er­al labor­ing duties, par­tic­u­lar­ly in the areas of clean­ing and lit­ter removal around Alice Springs.

Your respon­si­bil­i­ties will include emp­ty­ing lit­ter bins into com­pactor vehi­cles dur­ing the street lit­ter col­lec­tion ser­vice, gen­er­al lit­ter main­te­nance, keep­ing accu­rate dai­ly work records, and report­ing any issues includ­ing nec­es­sary repairs to the team leader/​super­vi­sor, and relief garbage truck and com­pactor dri­ving as required.
