Council Facility Hours 24 December 2020 – 4 January 2021

Alice Springs Town Council advises residents of the following hours of operation, for facilities and services, during the Christmas and New Year period. For all other days, regular hours of operation apply.

Civic Cen­tre Clos­ing 5pm, Thurs­day 24 Decem­ber 2020, resum­ing nor­mal hours Mon­day, 4 Jan­u­ary 2021.

Alice Springs Pub­lic Library Closed Fri­day 25 Decem­ber, Sat­ur­day 26 Decem­ber, Mon­day 28 Decem­ber 2020, and Fri­day 1 Jan­u­ary 2021. Lim­it­ed hours (10am-2pm) on Tues­day 29, Wednes­day 30, and Thurs­day 31 Decem­ber 2020.

Alice Springs Aquat­ic & Leisure Cen­tre Closed Christ­mas Day, Fri­day 25 Decem­ber 2020.

Region­al Waste Man­age­ment Facil­i­ty Closed Christ­mas Day, Fri­day 25 Decem­ber 2020, and New Year’s Day, Fri­day 1 Jan­u­ary 2021.

Redis­cov­ery Cen­tre Closed Fri­day 25 Decem­ber 2020, resum­ing nor­mal hours Mon­day, 4 Jan­u­ary 2021.

Depot Clos­ing 3.30pm, Thurs­day 24 Decem­ber 2020, resum­ing nor­mal hours Mon­day, 4 Jan­u­ary 2021.

Kerb­side col­lec­tion: ser­vice for Christ­mas Day (Fri­day 25 Decem­ber) is resched­uled to Thurs­day 24 Decem­ber, and New Year’s Day (Fri­day 1 Jan­u­ary) is resched­uled to Thurs­day 31 Decem­ber 2020. Res­i­dents to please have bins ready for col­lec­tion by 6am. All oth­er sched­uled col­lec­tions will be car­ried out as normal.

The May­or, Coun­cil­lors, CEO, Direc­tors and Staff of the Alice Springs Town Coun­cil wish all res­i­dents a very Mer­ry Christ­mas and a Hap­py New Year 2021.
