International Cricket at Traeger Park

The Alice Springs Town Council welcomes the Northern Territory Government and Cricket Australia’s announcement of the Chairman's XI tour match against England will play at Traeger Park from 29-30 November 2013.
Mayor Ryan said “I’m excited about the announcement of international cricket in Alice Springsand the boost it will bring to the overall economy of our entire community.
“This announcement will see Alice Springs continue to flourish as a tourist destination, and also allow our community access to a piece of the Ashes tour.
“I encourage the Barmy Army and visitors from far and wide to make the trip to Alice Springs for the game. In amongst the untouched outback and famous rock formations, you will find a very unique and beautiful part of Australia that has so much to offer visitors.
“We will ensureTraegerParkis of the highest standard and continues to attract major sporting events to our community”.
