Cash for Wine and Spirit glass bottles

The Alice Springs Town Council is re-introducing its Cash for Wine and Spirit Bottles service at the Regional Waste Management Facility every Saturday, starting 21 December.
Alice Springs Town Council has a long history of supporting container recycling, introducing its own scheme in 2008, before current NT legislation was introduced.
The service is in response to the high level of community interest in recycling as current NT legislation does not include wine and spirit bottles.
The Alice Springs Town Council continues to encourage the Northern Territory Government to include wine and spirit bottles in its cash for containers legislation.
Residents of Alice Springs can drop-off wine and spirit bottles ONLY at the car park in front of the Rediscovery Centre.
Receive: 10c per bottle refund
Maximum: 100 bottles per person
