Alice Springs Town Council invites the community to get involved in this years national Ride to Work Day on Wednesday 12 October 2011.


“We are encouraging everyone to get involved in Ride to Work day by putting on a free healthy breakfast and activities on the Council lawns.”


“Riding to work is a fantastic idea because it’s good for your health and our local environment.”  Said Mayor Damien Ryan

Time: 6:30am – 9am

FREE Healthy Breakfast for all riders to promote the Healthy Communities ‘Active in Alice’ program, an initiative funded by the Australian Government.

Alice Springs Town Council proudly supports the National Ride to Work Day by the provision of a Healthy Breakfast to promote our Healthy Communities ‘Active inAlice’ Initiative.  This National Partnership Agreement on Preventive Health initiative was funded by the Australian Government.
