Gen­der & sex­u­al diver­si­ty, inclu­sive lan­guage workshop

May 17 marks Inter­na­tion­al Day Against Homo­pho­bia, Bipho­bia, Trans­pho­bia and Inter­sex Dis­crim­i­na­tion (IDA­HO­BIT): a day to increase vis­i­bil­i­ty, edu­cate and show your pride and sup­port for our LGBTQIA+ community.

This is an impor­tant date as it marks 31 years since the the World Health Organ­i­sa­tion removed homo­sex­u­al­i­ty from the Clas­si­fi­ca­tion of Dis­eases and Relat­ed Health Problems.This year we will be join­ing work­places and organ­i­sa­tions glob­al­ly to raise aware­ness and strength­en inclu­sion by hold­ing a Gen­der and Sex­u­al Diver­si­ty, Inclu­sive Lan­guage pre­sen­ta­tion / work­shop facil­i­tat­ed by The North­ern Ter­ri­to­ry AIDS and Hepati­tis Coun­cil (NTAHC).

• Inclu­sive practice
