Pre­sent­ed by Desart and co-curat­ed by Het­ti Perkins (Arrernte and Kalka­doon) and Aspen Beat­tie (Lurit­ja, Waru­mungu and Yawu­ru), Desert Mob brings togeth­er hun­dreds of artists from 35 Art Cen­tres to cel­e­brate desert cul­ture in the heart of Aus­tralia. Desert Mob fea­tures an exhi­bi­tion, sym­po­sium and mar­ket­place as well as pub­lic pro­grams and satel­lite events through­out Sep­tem­ber and Octo­ber in Mparntwe/​Alice Springs.
