Did you know that most babies go through around 6,000 nap­pies by the time they are toi­let trained? That’s around 350 tonnes nap­pies in Alice Springs land­fill each year – none of which will break­down in the next 500‑1000 years.

Birth and Beyond in part­ner­ship with Alice Springs Town Coun­cil will be hold­ing a free reusable nap­py work­shop. In this work­shop, you’ll learn about the envi­ron­men­tal ben­e­fits and costs sav­ings of reusable nap­pies and see exam­ples of dif­fer­ent types of mod­ern cloth nappies.
