Mayor congratulates central australian redtails on successful games
Alice Springs Town Council congratulations the success of the Central Australian Redtails on their four game trial in the NTFL.
“The flying success of the Redtails has been a great start to their NTFL career. I congratulate Rob Clarke, the coaching staff and players on their success.” Said Mayor Ryan
“In light of this successful trial and the expansion of AFL in Central Australia, the AFLNT needs to work with theAlice Springscommunity to find a suitable year round venue.”
“Traeger Park is a multi sporting venue and Council needs to be fair to all local sports on allocation of our most functional and popular oval.” Said Mayor Ryan
“This places a real challenge on the AFL NT to provide financial support for a suitable venue.”
Mayor Ryan said “With the strength of the Redtails success and the fantastic result of a four game trial, I look forward to AFL NT being proactive with an investment inAlice Springs.
