Alice Springs CCTV Monitoring
People who commit anti-social behaviour have been put on notice by Alice Springs Town Council with last night’s reinstatement of the Police special operations and for the first time NT Police will be monitoring Alice Springs CCTV.
“Council has called for this action as we were disappointed that even after last weekend’s special operations by Police to combat anti-social behaviour, it continued to happen once the special operation ceased.”
“So Council is pleased to announce that, as of last night, the NT Police has reinstated the special operations on anti-social behaviour and will now be monitoring Alice Springs CCTV cameras.”
“If this is what it takes, then this is wha tAlice Springs should be provided with.” said Mayor Ryan.
“Alice Springs needs this strong action and more Police resources.”
“This is a big step in the right direction and I support the NT Government for making this commitment to Alice Springs.” said Mayor Ryan.
