Alice Springs Field Naturalists Club Inc

This group is part of the Alice Springs Field Naturalists Club. The object of the club is to promote interest in all aspects of natural history. Regular monthly meetings, usually with a guest speaker are held on the second Wednesday of the month (except December and January) at 7.00pm. A variety of outings are held throughout the year. Hikes of various lengths and camping trips are held in the cooler months. In summer there are trips to the Sewage Ponds and night spot-lighting trips. The club has an interest in all aspects of natural history. Particular strengths are bird-watching, aquatic life, geology and native fauna and flora.
