It is primarily as a training ground for cricket and AFL but is also used for school groups and junior sport. Featuring AFL goal posts and a concrete cricket wicket, Jim McConville Oval is used year round. Dog owners are welcome to bring their canine companions to Jim McConville Oval from 5am to 8am daily. A doggy doo dispenser is available for your convenience and we encourage all dog owners to be responsible and clean up after their animal. Jim McConville Oval is a smoke free facility and is open daily to the public.
