Australia Day in Alice Springs 2019

Alice Springs Town Council’s Australia Day civic events commenced with an Arrernte smoking ceremony, official flag-raising and welcome to country. Forty-one adults and children from India, Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom, Philippines, Brazil, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and New Zealand were conferred during the Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony.
