Alice Springs Town Coun­cil invites Expres­sions of Inter­est (EOI) for mem­ber­ship to its Albrecht Oval Man­age­ment Committee.

The Com­mit­tee is made up of rep­re­sen­ta­tives from Coun­cil and indi­vid­ual mem­bers from the com­mu­ni­ty. Meet­ings con­vene four times per year, or more fre­quent­ly if the need arises.

The Committee’s pur­pose and func­tion is to advise and make for­mal rep­re­sen­ta­tion to Coun­cil (via the Tech­ni­cal Ser­vices Com­mit­tee) on mat­ters relat­ing to the devel­op­ment and sus­tain­able man­age­ment of Albrecht Oval.

Draw­ing on its col­lec­tive exper­tise, the Committee: 

- pro­vides advice and guid­ance to Coun­cil, as appro­pri­ate to plan­ning and devel­op­ing Albrecht Oval, includ­ing mat­ters referred to it by Coun­cil or its Tech­ni­cal Ser­vices Committee

- pro­vides advice on issues affect­ing ser­vice users

- pro­vides a forum for discussion

- sup­ports and guides the devel­op­ment of rec­om­men­da­tions for future works with­in the exist­ing bud­get frame­work for Albrecht Oval
