Alice Springs Town Council’s mowing crew are working hard to attend to all of the municipality’s verges, parks and ovals after recent wet weather. Council would like to thank the community for their patience, and also to thank those residents who mow their own verges. Council maintains:
- The verges on 286 kilometres of road
- 13.5km of laneways
- 82 hectares of parks and ovals.
If you would like to report a specific area needing to be mowed, the two below options are the best way of letting Council know.
- Download the free NeatStreets app (for both iPhones and Androids). It uses GPS technology to assist in confirming the specific location. After making a report you can track the progress and will receive feedback. Graffiti, litter, abandoned trolleys and hazards can also be reported via this app.

- Email email@example.com with the details of your request, including photos or any other relevant information.
Council will aim to prioritise any areas reported by the community.
