Volunteering in Alice Springs
Alice Springs Town Council values the important role of volunteers in encouraging social cohesion, bringing positive change, and fostering a true sense of community across Alice Springs.
Council currently has volunteer opportunities at the Alice Springs Public Library and with the Youth Action Group.
Council has also several advisory committees that people can volunteer on as general members, and provide their input and ideas into
Council’s decision making in a range of areas, such as seniors, public art, parks and accessibility.
Volunteering NT, the peak body for volunteering in Alice Springs, has a staff member in Alice Springs and can provide direct referrals to volunteering opportunities in Alice Springs.
